  1. You can count yourself lucky to come across Ricky as your teacher. He is one of the most professional, organised, intelligent and – for a teacher equally important – nice musicians I have come across. Having commissioned Ricky as Ableton and guitar tutor I can not recommend him enough. He is highly skilled, always well prepared, enthusiastic, serious about his work, and also willing to go the extra mile for his students. An absolute pleasure to work with and learn from!

  2. There are time when you come across with people that make an impact in your life in some special way. I was not lucky enough to have Dr. Graham as a professor; but as an advisor for some of my projects, Dr. Ricky Grahams made a huge impact in my life. The way he approached music is more than just the conventional way. He is not only a very talented musician, but a extremely skilled sound researcher who is really innovating the field of Music and Technology. Thank you very much for your support Dr. Graham.

  3. He is a great teacher! Ricky has been helping me produce music with ableton for the past few months. He taught me everything I know about ableton. He will help you with what you want to learn and in my case it is making dubstep. He helps me with composing tips and how to get the sound I want in my head onto ableton, like bass wobbles.

  4. For the past couple of months, Ricky has taught me how to use Ableton in many different ways to create music. I learned a great deal from his approach on sound engineering as well as managing the process flow for performance. Ricky is easy-going and very enthusiastic about teaching you whatever it is that you seek. Another area that I wasn’t too familiar with was using the program called PD. He walked me through this program as well as Max for live to really understand the fundamentals of wave oscillation/synthesis. This was quite interesting and helped me rekindle my passion for computer programming through music. I would recommend Ricky to anyone seeking lessons in Ableton or guitar work.

  5. I can’t recommend Ricky as a teacher highly enough. The guy has a Ph.D. in music and it really shows in the versatility and range of his knowledge and skills. For starters, he knows Ableton backwards and forwards and comes up with skills and tips that will help you use the program like the powerful instrument that it is. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about music theory and has been both patient and helpful to me in my efforts to compose and learn about harmony. If you feel like veering off into the technical, electronic or mathematical aspects of music software or hardware, he’s got that at his fingertips too. In short, I have yet to come up with a question or area where Ricky has not impressed me with his knowledge and skills. And he does all this in a low key, genuinely patient and generously helpful manner. I feel lucky to have found him as a teacher.
